new seat skins question
I'm considering changing the interior in my z06 over winter. Im debating if inshoukd spend the extra to do real leather or just do the synthetic.
Does anyone have any experience with the synthetic?
Dont c5's come with synthetic from the factory?
Thinking I may stay with black but have red accents ....the car is Electron Blue

Many of the skins, factory included, use leather in the main parts and vinyl in inconspicuous places.

I went with Vette Essentials leather on my seats. Do not regret it at all - an excellent product and superb customer service. They are not the cheapest covers you can get, but it would be hard to find better quality.

Most of the "leather" seat skins being installed these days are animal skin with a vinyl surface. Vinyl skins are man-made materials (cloth) with vinyl on the surface. That's why they look the same: They're the same material on the surface. Here are my vinyl seats in black with red accents:

Check out djmotorsportaccessories.com. They are a forum sponsor with great products. I put a set of their all leather seats in my '03 Z06, and have not been disappointed. When you do it, don't forget about getting new foam, at least for the seat bottoms.
