Default Active Handling Message

I own a 2004 C5 convertible that has approximately 25,500 miles. I stored it for three months with a trickle charger. There were not any messages before storage.

Now I have the message, "service active handling" upon starting. Tried reset to no avail.

Suggestions please.

Thanks.

Could be an issue with a rear wheel sensor? Boyfriend had a similar problem with his 2002. His traction control light was on.

Pull the codes and post them. Can't really troubleshoot w/out those codes.

This posting of codes gets into an area that is entirely new...thus I am learning. I followed the procedure for extracting codes and for Number 28 - TCS is as follows:

1233HC
1234H
1235H
1248H
1282H
1283H
1288H
1295H

Thanks to all who emailed that codes were needed before one could tell what was the problem.

Right front wheel speed sensor circuit open or shorted. Probably need to check your connections first to make sure they are clean and fit tightly.

I have cleaned up the diagnostic codes. I still have one code that cannot be reset. It is in the category of 28TCS. The actual code is 1233HC.

Any advice?

Thanks.
