Default Pics From Vermont...

We had a weekend to spare so we chose to spend it up in Vermont and brought the Vette for some cool shots.

We missed most of the foliage and mainly stayed at the house all weekend to enjoy the peace and quiet. We swapped the sounds of a roaring V8 for the sound of aged crackling firewood in the fire pit... The smell of tire smoke for the smell of a wood stove.

All in all it was a great weekend.

Nice place, nice car. I lived there for thirty years and now I get the hell out of there just before the parade of leaf peeper and frost on the pumpkin arrive. Winter in Florida works better for me since I gave up skiing and snowmobeering.

Great pics. My dad's family is from the Fairlee area and we had a weekend house there when I was growing up so I spent a lot of time there when I was younger. My parents were actually up there just west of St J's this weekend visiting some friends. They said the same thing about the leaves being past peak.

Went there on my honeymoon almost 10 years ago now. It was everything I imagined it to be, and ever since I've only wanted to go back and see it again. We stayed at multiple places, with the entire honeymoon taking us for stops at Niagara Falls, Vermont, and finally Maine before heading back home to Chicago. Can't wait to go back!

Thanks. We missed the majority of the leaf peepers thankfully.

Funny you mention Fairlee! We ate at the Fairlee Diner for breakfast one morning. Not far from the house at all!

Had to add something other than the car

The majority of the color had passed before we got there unfortunately.
