Default Help! 2003 Power windows

The problem I'm having is that the passenger window will not roll up or down. I've tried from the drivers side control and the passenger control. Have check all the fuses and even swapped them side to side to make sure they are good. Still no luck wondering if it might be a bad window motor????????????

Turn on the key, hold the window down switch (if the window is up, hold the up switch if it's down) on the driver's side and slam the passenger door. You can do the same thing holding the passenger door window switch if it's easier for you. Post back what happens after you do that a couple of times.

If you can break it loose, it will usually work for quite a while, specially if you move it up and down occasionally.
Take a look at this and if you Google C5 window won't work, you'll find lots more:

Thank you for all the information. I walked out this morning got in the car and rolled down the drivers window to clear the dew that was on it, and thought what the heck tried the passenger side window and it worked just fine. Rolled it up and down several times today with no problems.
I'm beginning to think maybe the Corvette Gods are messing with me because I have not washed it in over a month.

Not washed it in over a month!!!!! I'm surprised you have only been cursed with a finicky passenger window!

Seriously though, as other here have said or indicated, it probably needs a window regulator replacement.

BUT, often times, a sharp blow to the sturdy part of the door panel whilst holding down/up the window control button will bring the unit back to life. And it usually stays that way for months. It also usually sticks again sometime down the road, but the sharp blow trick to the door brings it back to life.

I have a 2003 also, and I have had my passenger window stick a couple of times on me in the last 12 months. The sharp blow trick to the door panel instantly brings it back to life.

I have a new replacement window regulator sitting in the garage. Maybe I'll install it this winter.

The secret is to make sure you operate the passenger window each and every time you get in the car.

Oh, and wash it occasionally............the car I mean.
