Headlight motor
My left head light motor opens the head light just fine, but when I turn the switch off the headlight closes but the motor makes a loud noise. The top of the motor spins as the lid closes then continues to spin and make the spinning noise after the light closes for about 30 seconds. The right light works fine. Any ideas? Thanks Green C5

The plastic gear in that motor went out, You need to do a gear replacement with a brass gear.

I feel your pain. Just the other day, my right headlight wouldn't raise when I turned the lights on. After pulling the fuse and putting it back in, the motor worked just fine. Then, when I went to shut the lights off... the driver's side motor kept spinning. What are the odds of one headlight problem immediately following another? I did order gears from Rodney Dickman, so I'll be doing the replacement soon enough.
