starting problem
i have a used 2001 corvette automatic. couple weeks ago the aftermarket alarm started acting crazy. then last week the car wouldnt start. i finally got it started by holding the key in the start position for about 10 seconds. disconnected the alarm and i still have the same problem. please help thanks

If you are sure your battery is okay, your ignition key or switch may be the problem. Bill Curlee wrote a nice procedure for checking the ignition switch in the tech section. Run a search in that section.
