Been off the board for awhile and lost interest in things. 2nd heart attack in Nov. I haven`t even been to a gun show :eek: since then, that`s how bad it was.

Ok, I`m trying to get back to normal and might have missed a few things. I`ve ordered an `03 Z06 and was wondering about a few mods. Now that the Z has been out awhile I figure there should be some good opinions on what to do.

I was going to keep the FRC and mod it but I got a deal I can live with on the trade so why not?

First off, I was talking to one of the tuners from the board and he told me that the 4:10 rear is available and is reliable. Another told me no good. Anyone have it and what`s your opinion? 4:10`s by themselves would make a worthwhile mod over the 3:42`s if they`ll stand up. I know 6 months ago it was said to be impossible to do.

I`ve heard the Z exhaust and I think the sound of my A&A mod on the HT sounds 100% better at idle. What exhaust with headers. Which headers? I`ve heard the FLP`s are good with the LS1 but are they optimum on the Z? Long, short?

I`m not going to go into the motor (yet) and I`ll be taking the Ripper out of the HT and putting it in the Z.
I can`t think of anything else right now but I do know you guys are very opinionated so I should get a good spectrum of advice.

Dino, sorry to hear about your second :( The air intake will give you some added power, the Hall Tech Sidewinder or Vararam are good choices, long tube headers like TPIS or FLP will give you good gains, if your looking for more then 30 lb injectors with a computer reprogramming will help even more.
