caliper covers?
Seems to me the caliper covers would be worth putting on my C5, they'd look good. I've heard both good and bad comments. What do you think about them?

Consensus is people here don't care for them on either the form or function of them. Many are even fanatical about their being opposed to them. Beware that there may come some harsh comments on this thread.

I would recommend painting or doing a core exchange for powder coated calipers. I went with powder coating the calipers red and the brackets black. Cleaning them is easy and I like the look better than the covers. The calipers will look even better when I replace the wagon wheels.

IMO Covers a plain silly. Look at me, "Fake Big Brakes!"
Stock calipers are a nice size and clean up nicely. Easy to paint a color that matches your car. Powdercoat is the way to go, much more durable.

Okay I'm convinced, don't like the look of the covers they look fake, I'll clean up and paint my calipers.

The caliper covers just look like a tack on item. Do the painting/exchange for a powdercoated set and it will look much better.
