Hey guys, are the mirrors on the C5 manual fold or electric folding? I am afraid to push on them but I also can't find any electric button.

Thanks
Mike

Manual folding either direction. More for storage or accidental bumping than everyday use. I would be reluctant folding often as they will fail after awhile. Greetings, Rob

Manual foldback with power glass mirror movement. I agree with above poster foldback is for occasional use only. There have been numerous threads over the years about broken retention springs and what a PITA it is to fix them.

Even the vert top isn't electric on a C5.

I gotcha. I just wanted to fold them when I park on a narrow street so someone doesn't take them off with their mirrors. I know about the top being manual which I have a convertible. I have had to cabriolet 911's and one was manual and one was electric. The electric top motor went out and cost some big money. Thanks for the info on the mirrors.

Good to know. I fold my mirrors often but I will limit it to only necessary use.
