I know someone who bought a set and talked highly of them....he has since passed and his car is for sale....anyway the left rear tire is constantly losing air and it is because the chrome is flaking and the tire will not seat properly. It has been looked at numerous times and it is the wheel nothing else.

The C5 I used to have had wheels I purchased from there. I had a good sale experience and the wheels lasted a good while. The polished finish started to come off after about 4 years. Never had any structural defects though.

My repro wheels that came on my FRC had chrome flaking inside the barrels and slowly moved to the spokes. I now have OEM Z06 wheels and they are much better.

I had bigtime issues with one of those repro companies.. it might have been the other one (I don't remember). Don't want to give names, if I don't remember anymore..
but I did want to mention.. to preserve the inside of the barrels (from peeling/chipping) I used POR15 Clear enamel to protect them on the inside of the barrels. It works like a charm! You brush it on. GREAT stuff. Had the wheels for about 5 years now, and the coating is perfect with no pitting whatsover. I keep the car covered outside half the year and garaged also during the winter months. I don't drive in rain or snow.

Pretty much the same thing here. Barrels pitted and flaked. This past summer i wound up sanding everything down with 60-80-100-&120 grit paper, applied etching primer and painted them a dark metallic gray. Seems to be holding up, but it's only been a couple of months. Only time will tell.

Not sure if you would care, but on top of all of the finish issues posted above, they are also pretty heavy wheels. I dropped a significant amount of weight going to my OEM Z06 wheels....and gained tire width at the same time!
