Obviously, the main problem with exposed headlights for the C5 is that the vertical rise isn't tall enough to fit even HIDs. Hence the bug eyes. However, thanks to wonderful technology, there are now LED headlights. Has anyone designed an exposed C5 housing for LEDs yet? They are very small and should be able to work with a flush lens with no bugeyed bulge.
I purchased the Radioflyer SLCs
No frog/bug eyes with those lights, and they're properly-projected HIDs too
Like' em and have 'em ... convert them to HIDs(low beams only!) otherwise the heat will stress fracture them.
I ordered some Depo's today, and an HID kit for the lows. I looked at the wiring and I am wondering how the single HID bulb can be connected using the large connector, as well as the halogen high beam bulb. Is this still plug and play, using the plug that comes with the Depos? Wasnt sure if the Depos have separate plugs or just the one large connector. Ive installed many HID kits before, just cant visualize this setup. I know someone has to have done this, thanks for any help!
