I also ran the GT2's. I loved them Not sure why anyone would run anything else. They were designed by a company that knows Vettes and even uses their parts for racing.
As per my post on pg 1 of this thread, I've taken Toque's advice and
have the GT2's installed on my car last summer. My son has Stance's on his Z. I believe Toque used to live in Nova Scotia now resides in Texas. By the way British Columbia is about 4k. miles from N.S., may as well drive to Texas. His recommendation is good enough for me, don't need 6 separate comparables to make my decision LOL
Overall, the idea of moving to a Corvette Coilover suspension is going to give you a huge leg up on other Corvettes in terms of handling and street drive-ability. Removing the transverse leaf spring and OEM shocks will yield a true independent suspension which eliminates any “crosstalk” and harsh ride that the OEM suspension is known for.
It really is too bad that despite having a good kit you guys continue to use this claim. If a doctor told me a medication would cure me because it satisfies the gnomes in my liver I would have to wounder about my doc... even if his prescription was right.
The "true independent" claim is total BS and suggests that the person making the claim does not understand what they are talking about. So long as the left and right side are attached to the same chassis you can't have "true" independent suspension. Independent ONLY means the kinematics of each side with respect to the chassis are independent. I hate to see a company with a good product tell their customers things that are simply NOT TRUE just to score a sale.

Its a 60 hour drive from NS to BC.....
Its only a 33 hour drive from Dallas to BC.
I got family in Vancouver.
I could visit them too...
I don't mind opinions being tossed around in the thread because not many people here will have installed two or more different types of coil overs on the same vehicle. Highly unlikely. However, if you can back up your opinion with a valid reason then it's helpful to me and everyone else.
I was also looking for great informative posts like Pfadt posted with the features of the product. Then someone can come in this thread and say, "oh, I see that Pfadt coilovers have the CIRC system while brand Y does not. Now I understand why they cost $500 more." Of course you can find this information elsewhere online, but the convenience of having it in one thread is nice. Then you can read the facts and opinions/testimonials all in one location
