The companies you list all survive by selling ad-space to companies which in then turn try to sell you things. It's the exact same concept.

We're allowed to have a certain amount in each section. Around the holiday time we're all battling for this small market so threads will be posted and bumped more.

Read my other post in this thread. I didn't say sponsors were bad. Besides, the OP was complaining about a specific thing that sponsors are able to do... not that there are sponsors at all.

I totally agree with you and it isn't surprise that people on here will start judging you for making a comment. "you are similar too..." BS. Thanks for the comment you and everyone else is entitled to their opinion.

I'd much prefer to sponsors being able to post anywhere they like as it is now to having ads pop up everytime you try to click on something like some other sites. At least that gives me the option to choose what I want to look at as opposed to having it chosen for me.

I couldn't care less but here's a thought, question. Who came first, the members, or the vendors?

We are ALL in this together and if not for us there would be no vendors, if not for vendors, this site would be much less than it is.

If we were made to pay then it would be an issue.

I must say it is pretty strange. This is the only forum I have been on where vendors post for sale threads everywhere not just in the vendor for sale section. Unless its something breakthrough or a build its always been on in a Vendors For Sale Section. There have been times when I've opened up CF and in every single forum the first 10 posts are vendors. I actually was one of the people that recommended the vendor for sale section a few months ago and was told no but then a few weeks later it popped up. It makes shopping and searching for sales threads easier too. I've ran a few car forums myself so I understand sponsorship is necessary but CF is owned by iB a huge corporation. Just saying.
