Not much a convertible fan, like a little more security than that, but the ability to pop the top off and cruise the hills, priceless!
Being that said love the styling of the FRC/Z, and as stated with a nice cam, some shocks/sways and your playing with the Z's, either way you can't go wrong!

Good luck!
nothing wrong with putting shocks and sways from a Z in a coupe. I just put 2013 C6 shocks and Z06 sways in my 1999 coupe. Making a coupe produce 430/ 450 HP you've got a pleasant ride and one that you can remove the top.
Zero debate for me. The coupe/targa/hatch is better in nearly every way. Secure and weatherproof with the ability to have open top cruising? And with the glass roof it's basically like cruising with the top off all the time. The external aesthetics are a million times better than the FRC/Z06 in my opinion.
Seriously, do you want a Corvette with a snubbed off rear window or an aerodynamic beauty like this?
If I had to do it all over again I probably would get a Z (if thats the FRC you're referrring to).
For as much as I remove the targa, I'd give it up for the additional ponies....

You can get the additional ponies on your coupe if you really want em...
