Not much a convertible fan, like a little more security than that, but the ability to pop the top off and cruise the hills, priceless!

Being that said love the styling of the FRC/Z, and as stated with a nice cam, some shocks/sways and your playing with the Z's, either way you can't go wrong!

Good luck!

nothing wrong with putting shocks and sways from a Z in a coupe. I just put 2013 C6 shocks and Z06 sways in my 1999 coupe. Making a coupe produce 430/ 450 HP you've got a pleasant ride and one that you can remove the top.

Weird picture, looks like the rotor goes outside of the wheel spoke, but it's just a reflection.

Zero debate for me. The coupe/targa/hatch is better in nearly every way. Secure and weatherproof with the ability to have open top cruising? And with the glass roof it's basically like cruising with the top off all the time. The external aesthetics are a million times better than the FRC/Z06 in my opinion.

Seriously, do you want a Corvette with a snubbed off rear window or an aerodynamic beauty like this?

Taking the top off was the main reason for me getting my vette. I do want to paint the halo black because I think they look awesome that way.

Z06's are awesome for sure, but removing the targa top on a summer day is hard to beat.

I also think the coupe with the fastback glass vs. trunk is aesthetically better proportioned.

But what matters most is what do YOU like better? Either way, a C5 is guaranteed to deliver more smiles per mile than just about anything on the road!

If I had to do it all over again I probably would get a Z (if thats the FRC you're referrring to).
For as much as I remove the targa, I'd give it up for the additional ponies....

I think that's what it comes down to... having that extra cash I would've dropped on a z to play around with for mod money is also pleasing too.

I guess the search for the right coupe has begun!!

I've had a GTO and a CTS-V I guess this is the next logical step in the progression anyway.
