Been staying busy
I started a stereo install back in October with plans on putting a new head unit in, along with an amp and sub. I got the new head unit in but hadn't had time to do the sub install. Lately I've had some down time due to a tonsillectomy and getting a couple weeks off work, so I've been finishing it up, along with a couple other things.

Having Corbeau seats is nice. 4 bolts and boom, plenty of room to work. I also went ahead and fixed my locked seat belt while I was in there.

Everything in.

Making the fiberglass shell.

Quick disconnect for sub.

MDF Front to mount sub.

Reinforced edges (for airtight seal) and test fit.

Carpeted and mounting brackets added.

Wiring

All done.

I think I may move the amp, but we'll see. I need to play with the sub to get the sound I'm looking for, but I want to break it in first (Let the sub loosen up a little and get settled).
I also picked up a front license plate cover from ebay which is nice.

Buuuuut, best of all.....

My next project. Cannot waaaaiiitt.
So as for header install, I saw that it's good to use stock bolts. I'm hoping to do it on a lift myself, so I've been looking at DIY's and all that good stuff. Any advice from anyone who's done it already?
Also, Audio guys. Is there a good read or YouTube video that will help me out when it comes to tuning the sub with the stereo settings for different frequencies? I usually just play with it til it sounds right, but maybe it'd help if I did some reading.

Remove the spark plugs so they don't get cracked. Watch out for that coolant temp sensor on the drivers side. I knocked mine off on my first install
If you have a hand to help these aren't usually issues. It's hard to control that long header by yourself.

I did my first header install this early fall. Just took my time as others have said. I did it on jack stands and it wasn't bad at all... Just time consuming as the passenger side was a booger. I had thought that would be the "easy" side... I had to re tap a couple header bolt holes but it's awesome blossom now.
Enjoy your sweet ride. Great picture

You will love the LT's and the results after the Dyno tune!

Thanks,Matt
