Default Exhaust Recommendations

Right now I have quad power exhaust from mid america which came on the car when I bought it. It's a little too loud when cruising and on a cold start. Can anyone recommend an exhaust that's quiet at cruising speeds but still louder than stock? The best I can find is the quad cruiser exhaust from mid america. Is there a better sounding exhaust than that that doesn't have any drone?

I replaced my Borla's a couple weeks ago with Z06 titanium exhausts & I'm very happy. The Ti's have a great exhaust note, no drone, they look good & they're priced right. You can find them priced normally between $300 - $400.

Corsa Pace Car all the way...

- No highway drone... even with headers
- Gets loud only when you stomp on it

I've had mine for the last 6 years and no regrets

C5Z Ti.

Cheap. Light. Louder than stock. No drone.

You can put the savings toward a set of headers.

I have the Cora Indy pace car. I could sell them tomorrow for 600/700 dolars they are stainless and guaranteed for life, they owe me nothing There is just no better exhaust note for me.. there is no drone at cruise and sound great at WOT. deeper at idle than stock.. But with all that said, they are 1200 dollars. you can find them sometime s for 600 or 700 used. but most people with them do not sell them.
with all that in mind I would suggest you look at the Z06 OEM Titanium exhaust used for 300 or 400 dollars. light weight good sound and no drone at any rpm level.

I used to have Ti's with my long tubes and they sounded great, just not what I was looking for. The Corsa Pace Cars are AWESOME. My car screams at WOT, but just has a nice, drone-less, sophisticated exotic tone driving around town, I think it's the best exhaust ever offered for these cars IMHO

I agree. The C5 Z06 Titanium axle back is an excellent choice.

I had Corsa Touring axle back on my 1st Vette and liked it a lot.

I believe either one of these would do what you want.

Do you have a cross pipe ? If not, that will quiet it down.

And yes, you need a X-Pipe.

Thanks for all the responses so far. I do have an x pipe, one of the previous owners bought the entire exhaust/air intake kit from mid america. Now that my choices have been narrowed down, I just have to decide how much I'm going to spend.
