Default Driving the Vette!

I went to a Christmas party tonight and drove the Vette. With the weather here in Knoxviile being nasty today was the only day to bring out the Vette. I drove the car tonight and it felt so good to be behind the wheel of this car. I just love how it drives and hugs the rode.

I get a smile on my face everytime I get behind the wheel. Does anyone else get that feeling?

So the weather was "nasty" so you brought out the Vette? Interesting.

You're asking, on a Corvette forum, whether we get a good feeling when we drive these cars? I think the overwhelming response would be yes.

The weather broke today so I drove the Vette. I don't normally drive it in the rain. It's a fair weather car for me. The weather has been nasty here the past week. Now that it's gonna rain the next few days it will be put to bed until the next nice day. Unfortunately, it's not top down weather!

Duh. Driving the vette always puts a smile on my face. Try to bring it out on nice clear days up here in the winter.

The only weather I will not drive my Vette in is snow and ice. That is not because the car cannot handle it, it will because it's well balanced. It's all the other idiots out on the road that will try to avoid a crash, but it's hard to do when one is going too fast in the snow. The rules of physics can not be broken.

I got caught in a storm once. The car handled good just had to take my time. I ended up getting stuck bc there was a car stuck in the snow & my car slid slowly & gently to the side of the road. LOL

nothing better than driving your C5 on a cold air dense day where the seat of the pants gets a thrill with the horse power gain.

Yes it does make me smile every time I drive it. It brings my BP down and creates an overall feeling of exciting anticipation as I leave the garage. I haven't driven mine in about 3 wks because the weather in Kentucky stinks right now but I'm watching the weather channel every day.

I haven't gotten to drive mine in almost two weeks, so taking it out today was nice. Needless to say, I was a little heavy on the throttle. I even stopped and took a couple pictures real fast.

The smile for me starts walking up to the car. Daily.

The most exciting (adrenaline inducing) times in my life are with this car flying down the front straight at my local track.
