I'm not sure I really needed another reason to drive my car year-round, but this thread certainly qualifies.
Same here.
Mine will set for a week at a time. But thats about as long as it takes
Hauled some speakers into the garage one night atter a gig. Trailer had bearing issues. The next week when we laoded them back up, one had already crawled in a base tube of a main speaker and made himself at home. Had to pull the speaker apart clean it out. And the smell never goes away.
Been using IRISH SPRING soap for a few years now, slice up soap and put into plastic tray's and place in different areas in car. Side benefit car smells great in spring. I put dryer sheets in glove box and center console.
Forget paying for mouse traps....
An old farmer told me how to make a very good mouse trap.
You'll need:
5 gal. pail
peanut butter
3ft. piece of 2X4
Put 4-5 inches of water in pail.
Smeer a small amount of peanut butter about 3-4 inches below rim of pail.
Lean 2X4 against pail above the peanut butter.
The little buggers reach for the peanut butter, fall in and drown.
You can also get Chipmunks too. But instead of peanut butter, pour some sunflower seeds in the pail...... the seeds will float.....and they will jump right in thinking the pail is full of seeds......and drown.

I heard about a similar to what you described. The differences were to use antifreeze instead of water so it doesn't smell, and a can or bottle suspended by a string or wire in the middle but down a couple of inches. The peanut butter is spread on the can. The can is free to rotate. When they jump onto the can it turns and they drop in the bucket.
I heard it works pretty well and has gathered 20 or 30 during a season.
Thanks for the advice, think I will try the Irish Spring and Bounce.
Where can I buy the Cat Carrier, looks like a great X-Mas present? Do they make one for dogs?
