I know I shouldn't be complaining, but this is supposed to be sunny and warm here in the S/F Bay Area. At least I can drive I don't have to store for the winter.

I'm 15 hours North of you and only 2 degrees colder! But we do have an inch of God's dandruff on the ground!

Now that I'm retired, the only way I know it's winter is if I have to wear long pants to mow the lawn.

I feel ya. It got all the way down to 63° last night. Forecast 57 for the low tonight, then getting back to the low 70's. I hate these cold fronts

You poor babies! I'll trade places with you any time. When I was in boot camp at MCRD San Diego in 1967, it actually snowed in December when we were at Camp Pendleton. The range instructors lit fires in ammo cans so we could keep our hands warm while we qualified. I think it made all of us from the Midwest even more homesick.

And going below zero again tonight here in Chicagoland with -25 windchill. Snow Saturday.

I would enjoy a midwinter cruise if we get some salt-free days. Maybe some of us here in the northern Chicago suburbs can get together.

Update: It's snowing again as I post this. Wednesday morning, 10:00 CST.
