Snowed a bit this morning. Car is definitely staying in where it's warm now.

Midwest winter doesn't look to have kicked into gear yet. Same here. Dustings. I should go put some miles on my MGW while I can so I can complete my decision vs Tick. Selling one or the other will cover some Christmas expenses.

Yep, nothing serious yet here. Now central and western Nebraska, that's a totally different story. I-80 was closed and still might be. I'll take this little bit over that all day long.

Is that a box of new mods sitting on the deck?

Here is a shot of our Florida winter (so far). I know, rough times.

BTW - I watched your You-Tube tutorial video on the Apsis steering wheel airbag cover swap and followed it when I swapped out and installed my Apsis cover last weekend. I disconnected my battery overnight just to be sure and even so, I wasn't as courageous as you as I started the car from the passenger seat (A4) the first time post-swap. Thankful there wasn't a loud bang!

They do need the moisture out west, that's for sure. We could use it here too but I'll take the rain first please.

Little bit of difference in winter, that's for sure. I'm use to being in Arizona so this is all new to me again. Grew up here so I know what I'm getting into. I can't recall what's in that box off hand. I think it's the wife's things. Pretty sure there's no Vette parts in it or it would have been in the garage already. Glad the video helped. I was also pretty gun shy when I played with that bomb of an airbag. Wheel looks good.

Speaking of weather.........Turning the space heater on in the garage as we have a bit of a cold snap into the low 20s. While I don't think there's any chance of it actually freezing in the garage my intercooler system still has water only in it.

I'm really going to get serious this next week looking for a heater. Suppose to get below zero mid week. Not looking forward to that at all.

Got a package yesterday that I've been trying to get to my new address here in Nebraska for a couple weeks. Seems I didn't change my address on the NCM site before this shipped, so it went to my old address in Tennessee. I got in touch with the new owner and he graciously put it back in the mail and sent it to my new address. I'm glad I was able to get it.

I ordered an extra brick to have with me when I bought one for the NCM sidewalk.

I was in the same situation as you when I ordered my airbag cover from them. They were about 2 months late on the expected delivery window.

I eventually received it and their work was top notch. It just sucks waiting

Agreed that it does take some time to receive it. But it is worth the wait.

You’ll forget all about the wait once you have it. It really makes a huge difference.

Still playing the winter waiting game. More flurries overnight but suppose to be nice by the weekend. Roads are still to slick and packed with ice and snow to go anywhere yet.

Spent the afternoon out in the garage since it was above 32 degrees today. Moved some things around to make room for my new toolbox that will be here in a week or so I hope and also looking for some parts I need to send out for work. Tomorrow I'll be getting some storage lockers so I can get the rest of what's in the way, out of the way. Found out I can't work out there to much yet because that 32 degrees is still pretty F'N COLD man. That heater I tried didn't work to well, so I'll be looking for a larger one or wait until spring when I'm installing a mini-split system.

Winter sucks, but it is the best time for modding (IMO).
You might as well pony up and get that split unit ASAP, if you can.
I need to work on a couple of little things on mine too before spring gets here.
Hoping for an early spring this year!

It sure does and I'm hopingfor an early spring too. I honestly never saw myself living in the snow belt again, ever....my next priority with the garage is the storage units for along the wall. Then all those boxes you see on the other side of the car will be put away and out of the way. The mini-split will go on the wall where my toolboxes are. I'm thinking around the 1st of February I'll be able to work on the mini-split system. Need to wire it for the 220 also and I hope my hair doesn't get any more curly then it is when I do that part. Winter is the ideal time for mods, I'm currently working on a couple things too. Just no parts or heat yet. By the time I do get my parts, it will be nicer out but not quite driving weather. So it should work out time wise I hope. Good hearing from you. Hope that new truck is all that and more. I need a different one too.

Forgot the picture.

You like to live dangerously. Things mounted high on the wall. Piles of boxes next to the car. Items on shelves which can fall.

Do you also play Russian roulette with a pistol?

I've never played that yet. But everytime I look in that garage I feel like I am. It will all be sorted out and safer soon I hope.
