Here's a little short, fun video for you all. I forgot that I had this on my GoPro until this morning. This is actual proof that I did try and drive the Mini-Grape on the snow back in January. Didn't work out to well but I did give it a try. I think it would have been better to try it on ice. So if I ever get ice on the driveway, I'll give it another shot.
Interesting fact I just realized today. Way back in May of 2007, I found a Corvette on ebay. Kept a watch on it and finally put a bid on it. I won the auction obviously and flew from Phoenix, Arizona to go purchase it and drive it home. The place I landed was non other than Omaha, Nebraska. After all these years it has made it way back. I'm not saying it found its way home because I'm not giving it up, but I'm within like 40 miles of where I bought it.
I have also been playing with my truck. I put some stripes on the side, but I'm not totally on board with them. I'm like 60/40 on taking them off. I think it looks great without them but wanted something to go with the Corvette if I ever get a trailer and take it out of town with me. You can give me your opinion if you'd like, I won't get upset either way. Wife loves them & my family likes them. I will leave them on for a while and see if they grow on me more.
Thanks for the comments. Drove it to my parents today for my dad's 89th birthday bash. His actual day is tomorrow but today was the day to get us all together. They all loved them too, so I guess they'll be on for a while.
Well, life is hitting us again pretty hard. Mrs. Grape was diagnosed with lung cancer this week. Have a heavy schedule for the next few weeks already lined up. Looks like it was caught early we hope but we won't know the extent of it all until the scan gets done. She is also scheduled for a knee replacement next week so we hope that can happen also. Everything I had planned for this year will have to be put on hold until further notice. Car is going into mothballs for the time being. I had some plans for it too. The funds I had planned for it will be going towards her recovery as you wouid expect.. Anyway, just wanted to put this out there so she can have as many prayers as she can get. Send them all if you can or want to. Take care all my Vette Brothers & Sisters.
