I have them on the front and run R2's on the rear they are a soft tire made for handling and traction so don't expect 40K out of them.
Also they are about 1/2 tread depth of a normal tire, I like them but may not suit other people.
Dose anyone have any experience with Nitto NT555's.
Looking for new tires and came across these nittos. I'm comparing them with hankooks.
I have a pair on the rear of my coupe. They stick great when it's not cold (45 and below it seems), work well in rain, and are quiet. I like them and would recommend them to anyone.
Just to clarify
The Nitto 555 has a normal tread depth of 10/32 and it a good rain tire with good wet and dry traction. all tires are made of carbon ( which makes them black and adds to the longevity) and rubber which gives them traction ( but reduces longevity.)
The Nitto 555 is a typical performance street tire with similar characteristics to other performance tire with the ratio of carbon to rubber being in favor of performance.. they are not touring tires which have a higher carbon the rubber ratio.
The Nitto 555R is a drag radial with a 6/32 tread depth. a much higher rubber to carbon ration ( they are sticky tires ) with a smaller amount of carbon, they wont last long and with the tread depth being at 6/32. it not a tire you want to use for longevity. Its strictly a street legal racing tire. ( a Street slick )

To the OP, the Nitto Invo is a big step up in performance and technology from the 555. I do a lot of research before I buy anything. I found the Nitto Invo to be the best bang for the buck in price and technology.

I just replaced my CCW 505A" and Michelin Pilot sports with The Nitto Invo. I'm using larger tires so I needed new larger wheels.
Nitto Invo on the left, in the rear size 335/30/19 on a 19 X 13 CCW 505 A wheel. next to it is the 295/30/19 Michelin Pilot sport on a 19 X 11 CCW 505 A that I am replacing, next to it is my front 275/30/19 on a CCW 19 X 10. IM using the same size Nitto Invo for the front, on New CCW 505 A in the 19 X 10 size.
Nice..... I have the 325 30 19 invo's on the rear with 19x11 C6 Z06 style wheels. I just needed to see or get some insight on the front tires. Looks like Nitto invo's it will be.
Well a little correction here, I miss spoke what I have on the front are Nitto 05's and they are 6/32" deep tread also the R2's are not drag radials they in fact are road race tires.
