Default Raceing Seats

Okay here's the thing I've researched a lot countless threads on multiple forums and I have some questions. Id like it to be streetable as that's the main purpose with track a few days a month, needs to support a racing harness. I would like it to reclinable. Now here's the kicker I'm 6'8" 34 inseam and a 36" waist so from what I read the A4s wouldn't work, so would they work? What else is my options?

A4s look nice.....Caravaggios look even better. Big difference in pricing too.

At 6'8", it's a tough call. I'm 6'4" and the stock seat dropped all the way is barely enough for me, I haven't tried it with a helmet.

I am looking at doing the A4's (likely) and getting the bottom shaved. They are a great seat, but my favorite, but less work than other options.

Okay thanks! That's what I was looking for! I fit with the stockers barley, just seeing if I can gain an inch or so with aftermarket!!

Just my .02 but if you're going to track the car I wouldn't go with a reclining seat. No matter how cautious or how good you are on the track, you can't control the actions of others. I would not want to compromise my safety.

Thanks for your concern I had though about this and may have a fixed seat for race day, like the fx1 pro or some thing!

Good, because I've seen the result of less than true race level seats and mounts failing on impacts. I would recommend an FIA approved seat and solid mounts for yourself. Again, my .02, but I've been the innocent victim of someone else's on track mistake. Also, spend the $ on a HANS device.
