Simple question, Can a tuner tune out the T.C./A.H. so I don't have to keep turning the dang thing off every time I get in the car? I don't need or want it!
IF YOU EVER HIT A LOT OF RAIN OR SNOW OR ICE... YOU WILL LOVE YOUR ACTIVE HANDLING AND ABS. EVERYONE ELSE WILL BE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND YOU WILL STILL BE CRUISIN' DOWN THE ROAD!
ONLY TIME I TURN IT OFF IS ON THE TRACK, KINDA SUCKS TRYING TO TO 4 WHEEL DRIFTS IN AN 80 MPH TURN AND THE A/H PUTS YOU IN A SPIN!
Don't you all know that real men don't need no damn drivers aids?
Of course a lot of those real men wrecked their rides thinking they're smarter and have faster reaction times than those electronic aids especially in a panic situation,
once I learned how the AH worked I love it...I have played with on and off and there is a big big difference, I don't know why anyone would want to disable it..after all its there for a reason!!
My car did not have the option, and at first I was disappointed, but I've never had it prior and I've managed so far, I'm not saying it's not a great tool, but it's one more thing that can as time goes by be an issue as these cars grow older, so I'm not complaining.
I don't, and never will desire the nanny to drive my car. The active handling is OK I guess, but the traction control is dangerous. When I first bought my Vette 14 years ago, I was almost rear ended because the traction control shut my power down when I really needed it to get out of the way of an approaching car. The car thought it knew better when I should spin the tires or not. I turn it off as soon as I start the engine ever since and don't miss it.

This "real man" has been driving for over 50 years and never had an accident or a ticket [moving violation] so maybe I am doing something right! I simply ask a question about turning the thing off. Grow up and save your smart "azz" remarks for someone who cares what you think.
P.S. If you drive like you have some sense you don't need all this crap to save your butt.

That is exactly the way I feel rodsvette! You just said it better!
