I like all Corvette styling and it's hard to rank them so this is in no particular order.
I love the look of the C7 now, but I'm not sure how it will age.
The C2 always gets my blood boiling. Timeless styling.
Love the later C1's. Just classy.
C4's are just sleek and smooth. Makes you work at it when looking at the lines of the car. I prefer the earlier body.
The C5 styling is much like a C4, just amped up a bit with melted lines. There's an old lady around driving a red w/ white top vert that I drool over when i see it at the supermarket.
I like the C6's return to sharp curves, but the special editions marginalized the base model's styling.
C3's are a mixed bag for me. Like the chrome ones and the later ones a lot. The middle years without the spoilers looks strange to me. I was around when these were really getting long in the tooth looks wise, but they have since become "retro-cool".
Well, we have to have some noobs come in and mix it up, right? I can't identify with all the low grades on C4. Then again, I can't really find a good reason to rate ANY gen Corvette low on appearance, so there's that. Any Corvette is a beautiful Corvette. But I'll do my worst.

C2's and C4's were the cars that always made me turn my head the fastest. C4 may not be the most popular, but I think it's sleek modern design is fantastic. To me, it always felt like it represented the brand of Corvette very well, yet it's design poked it's head into the realm of a few sleek exotics of the era. As for C7, I just don't know yet. I like the design, but it really doesn't give the feel of "Corvette" to me. Time will tell.
Someone has to be last, while most do not like the looks, If this was a post on Corvette technological advances the C4 was one of the best. Just a few DI ignition, active suspension, latter frame lower block, extensive use of aluminum throughout, sequential port injection, 6 speed trans. Every generation gets better due to the last.
i don't get that personally. the late c4 especially is a way better designed car than the c3
i mean look at these things
Are you not aware that there were Chrome bumper C3's that were totally different than these all plastic cars ? The chrome bumper C3's were very popular and these plastic versions had no value. The plastic versions kept getting bigger every year to where they looked like a family sedan. There was room enough to add four doors. Show a good example of a C3 not these turds.
I agree 100%! the c-7 makes the c-4 look outstanding! I pick the c-1 to be the best and the 56-57 to be the best of the best
I believe the c-5 to be second with the c-2 [63 split window coupe] a close 3rd.
P.S. I'm getting kinda over Corvettes now [after 50 years driving and owning them] and find I like my wife's "55" Chevy 2 door sedan to be what I'm enjoying most now!
