maf sensor diameter
I recently purchased a dual ram air intake. it came with a
3.50" x 3.50" dia. connector. I need a 3.50" x 3.750" dia. connector,
which I did find on ebay. did corvette change the dia. of the maf
sensor anytime between 1997 & 2004? my 2004 has a 3.750" dia.
connection point for the ram air to be clamped to. I think the earlier
ones may have been 3.50" dia. if so, when did they change?

Yes, 2001 they increased the size. The only way I know this is because I have a 1999 with a Honker CAI and recently purchased a FAST 92 intake and a LS2 Throttle Body. Only to find out I needed a 2001-2004 MAF to fit up with the coupler for the LS2 which meant I had to change the connector between the MAF and the Honker CIA. Why she swallowed the fly I don't know why. If you are old enough you will get the humor in this rhyme

Yes, 2001 they increased the size. The only way I know this is because I have a 1999 with a Honker CAI and recently purchased a FAST 92 intake and a LS2 Throttle Body.
