Did you order the metal end links? You really want these to replace the plastic ones! You will be amazed after replacing all three!

I've got a z06, so im guessing i've got the metal ones.
Definitely metal in the rear, front was hard to tell as theyre a little dirty. Based on pics of the oem metal ones, im guessing mine are already though.

Z06 2004 shocks – $493.54 (all 4 shocks total)
For all 4 shocks, use part number 04z06shocks under Chevrolet make.
Contact Gene Cully (Forum Vendor) at GM Parts House
gene@gmpartshouse.com
except i would buy from anyone except that person stated above
check gm parts direct. usually cheaper, pace performance also typically price matches.
actually, if it's a base car i would get the c6z shocks. they are cheaper and similar to the 04s
the only time i would buy 04s is on a real z06. #1 it keeps it all stock and #2 they are simply wonderful with the oe spring rate and sway bars

My question was for the original poster. If you have a Z06, you have metal end links. a 99 FRC does not. No worries.....

These are the ones I personally would consider
Option 1:
~$1000 JOC stage 1 (shocks and sways with endlinks)
http://store.pfadtracing.com/johnny-...nsion-stage-1/
Option 2:
~$800
2004 Z06 Sachs Shocks
Hotchkis Sways
Option 3:
~$500
C6Z06 Shocks or Bilstien Shocks
C6 Z51 Sway bars w/ metal links
