Default No start!!!

I have ran into another problem. My heater core let go completely the other day. I made it back to the house but the car kept saying low voltage then it wouldn't start again. So I checked the battery it had 11 volts , I charged it the car started . I turned it off and it wouldn't start again so I got a new battery same thing started once then not again. The car is a 99 c5 manual . Any ideals out there .

Check all of your grounds and clean them . The cold weather could be causing the weak connections.

There are no codes but when I put the key in and turn to the run position I can hear the fuel pump prime up but nothing when you turn to crank nothing happens . Now nothing is coming on the Dash anymore . It won't say corvette or show the miles or anything . The passenger side floor board was full of coolant . Could one of the computers or the fuses box be wet or worse.

I found a blown fuse so I replaced it and the smoke came rolling out of the silver box right beside the fuse block. So I took it out and opened it up and it has a burn spot bad . I hope I can find one cheaper than 800 buck.

Isn't there someone else that rebuilds the computer? Absfixxer.com I think. Also Chuck cow, Corvettes of Westchester.

Sorry for your troubles with the computer,

Did you just replace the fuse and try it? I read where they recommended you take everything apart and clean dry first but your response came after the fuse change??

Never mess with liquid/power, hopefully you didn't fry something else in the process, clean everything and let it all dry out, theres a spray thats suppose to clean ands dry out electrical wiring and boards, can't remember the name tho.

Good luck with the repairs it sucks they would put computers under the heater cores.

sounds like you are on the way to fixing this...but what would cause all that coolant to leak into the cabin? Won't you need to fix that first?

agreed on trying to find out why coolant was all in your car seems like this is a problem you need to fix first...

make sure everything is all clean and dry before you reassemble as well, and make sure it all goes back in properly
