I was getting my chrome Z06 wheels put on and in the shop saw a vette with American Raciing wheels on it-looked similar to an HRE 540 series, says he payed <$2K for the set...grey mag in the cntr with a chrome polish on the outer-looked really sharp.

Anyone have any experience with AR wheels?
You could be at around that price for a similar Simmons wheel, and you'd be getting a lot higher quality wheel (3 piece) for similar money. Check out http://www.groupawheels.com for some pictures.

Cantex,

They seem similar to the "Tiller FL" Budnik wheel, but they are different. The spokes are completely straight as opposed to the Tiller and the hub portion for the lug nuts is different as well. Maybe it is another Budnik Model that is not listed on their site....

Does anyone have anymore info on these wheels???

HRE's are for pretty boys. If you want a performance rim, go with CCW.

Sorry Guys, I have been doing way too many drugs. The wheels are not Budnicks but rather Boyd Coddington's. They are Called the Timeless 2. Find them here: http://www.exoticwheel.net/BoydCoddington.html

19'' Front & 20'' Rear. That application was completely custom using the Z06 offsets. Need to call Boyd directly.

Some one should ask SW to post a pic of his white FRC. He has 19's up front and 20's in the back. They are HRE 541's or 547's and they are $ but they look sweet, that car looks sweet. I agree with most here but I think I will just save my money and get the HRE's. The Quicksilver with the factory grey Z06 rims looks pretty good anyways.

Yea, us guys that buy $50,000 toys and then supercharge them are worried about the price of rims.

We buy CCW's because its a legit race wheel.

Check out XTREME M.S. XMS wheel in painted/ chrome /hi-polish or Hyper black it dont get no better.I use HRE 547's for my Brembo Gran Turismo 14" offset and Fikse does a great job on custom offset as well.
WE carry all of them at the best prices and get many factory referals because of our understanding and 100% fitment accuracey.Dave S,
