So first an admission......I hate anything electrical
So here's the situation: Driving around town in my 03Z (yes it is really nice weather in SW Colorado), left turn blinker goes on and off really fast (like a bulb is burned out). Does it each time I turn. Drive around some more, get home and blinker works fine. I suspect a bulb is loose or possibly a relay. Is there a built in warning that the bulb is going out.? Anything else I should check??

I've never had any advance warning of a bulb going out, but you may be on the right track by checking for a loose bulb or a loose connection. Might want to make sure there is no break in the wires going to the socket too.
