Default 2013 mods

I know... a little late!
Projector headlights w/6000k HID - Quik Z06
Fog 6000k HID - corvettemods1
Stealth sub box w/10 shallow Kicker - Double D Mods
MTX amp - used
Aux jack - Radio Shack (The Source)

Need to give a big 'shout out' to 'Quik Z06' and 'corvettemods1' for completely standing behind their products!

Projector headlights - nice improvement and I love the look! Too bad they are only used at night! Also matching HID fogs.

Amp & sub. Not sure if I'm going to keep the amp where it is. I like having the extra storage space under the roof when it's down even though it's only a few inches high. But I also like having audio stuff out of sight. The shallow sub packs a lot of punch - very tight.

Aux jack. Followed this thread - http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...p-for-3-a.html

Very happy with all the changes except.... I want to do MORE...!

Peter

Nice upgrades!!

Are you running the stock head unit with the stereo, and what size amp are you running? I have a stealth box and sub that I picked up at a great deal that I haven't installed yet. I can't decide if I want to install it to the factory head unit or wait to do it all at once (double din). I also need to get an amp.

Stock HU - 200W amp.
I'm planning on doing a tablet (or similar) install as my source for music/video. Two problems with that idea right now is the screen size is too big and lack of memory. The sub was a definite upgrade and I would recommend doing that even with a stock HU. If you can do everything at once then that's even better!

Nice looking mods! What kind of tablet are ya thinking about? iPad mini? Nexus7? I see dell has a nice one with a 8" screen that runs windows, I think it's called Venue 8 pro. Very interested to see your tablet/stereo upgrade.

Haven't decided what I am going with. The problem is storage. Most have up to 64G which is nothing. I'm planning on going on Caravan '14 and wanted something to upload all my video too from my Gopros everyday. I'm looking for at least 500G and there's nothing out there (yet) that also has a smaller screen that will fit in the radio area. An external HD may be my answer. Also has to have NAV, rear/front camera and OBD11 linkup capabilities. Tall order I know but doable I think if I'm creative enough!
Of course then I need to power everything properly too...
