Im looking to replace my battery in my 02 Z06. I am less concerned with weight as compared to power. I can't run the radio and clean the car without having to charge the battery. Thought about Ultima yellow , any sugestions
I have had many red tops die in my cars... My 1st Yellow top lasted 5 or 6 yrs and the next 2 replacement died within a month. dunno if it was something in the car killing it or something bad in the batterys. there was a battery post here not to long ago if you search in the C5 section i wrote up all the sizes and power ratings for Interstate batteries threwout the C5's. others have used other AGM batteries with success. I like Interstate personally.

Same story here bro... I went through 3 Red Top batteries, each one lasted about 6 months.. I finally gave up on them and now I'm running some generic AutoZone battery thats made for a Toyota Camry but it was the same CCA's as our C5 so I bought it on a whim for $80 to see what happens... I've been running it for 2 years now.
That's the one I just installed in my DD vert, great battery. If you do your research you'll find it's an Odessey glass mat battery. The same battery that Odessey sells for over $300.00.
AND if you go to Sears and tell them what car you're putting it in they will tell you it won't fit. It fits perfectly.
I have used many, many different batteries over the years and Interstate has always been flawless.
We use them in our work vehicles....we got a bad one and went through hell with them to honor their warranty. No thanks, I don't have time for that nonsense.
Whatever you get, just make sure it's a type least likely to leak as the computer is right below the battery.
Thats any AGM type battery (absorbed glass mat). Id stay away from a tradional (flooded) type battery in these cars. I went with an optima red top because I had one in my 97z for 8 years and it was $100 or so less than the die hard. The c5z stays on a battery tender so Im sure it will last pretty long as well.

I have red tops in my C4s, and bought a Bosch for my C5Z. I think optima is junk.
