Sometime they work, sometimes they don't. Driver side work, Passenger side won't. Passenger side work, Driver side don't?
Any ideas? If if was the motor or fuse out, it would never work. Probable the control switch box? What do you think?
More than likely it's the regulator/motor...they are known to go bad. I'm in the process of replacing mine right now! I'm just trying to decide where to purchase the new one!
A common problem, usually affects the passenger side more than the driver side due to lack of use.
My driver side is fine, but my passenger side sometimes stops working, I just give the door panel a sharp bang while holding the window-down button and it works for another 4 months!
I have a replacement regulator sitting in the garage, it just hasn't been a nuisance enough for me to change it.
it's always the passenger side window on my z. It goes and the door lock doesn't work either, so I assume it is a module related issue, or a grounding issue. Does your power door lock work when the window doesn't?

A word to the wise, don't buy an aftermarket Regulator. Go on EBay. There are several Chevrolet Dealers there selling factory replacements at a deep discount. Save yourself getting really good at changing window regulators, over and over again.
I could hit mine on pass side and it would start working again. I bought a new motor but didn't know I needed a different connector. So then while waiting for the connector, I cleaned where the brushes ride. After using emery cloth on it, it has been trouble free for 8 months.

My passenger side window used to stop working occasionally. I beat it into submission with a one-pound sledge.
It's been trouble-free for well over a year now. I keep the sledge in the rear storage area just to remind the regulator what's in store for it if it ever stops working again.
