Supercharger Question

I'd suggest taking it to Doug Rippie at least once to get the car checked out.
Most likely this "local mechanic" can handle the supercharger oil change and ordering the special oil.

I talked to ProCharger in Kansas before I bought the car, seen as how it has a registration number I figured they'd know what kind of service it's received, any red flags, etc. The car came out of Georgia and the SC came out of a Z06… and it had just been sent in for service (belt) a few months ago. The guy at ProCharger spent quite a bit of time with me going over operation, maintenance, etc. and felt confident it was not, overall, a big deal or something that was going to be a headache down the road for me.
After reading a couple replies, it makes sense to bring it to Rippie and have him go over it, aside from the oil change. He is familiar with the car and I've had other 'vettes there.
On a side note, out of the 5 'vettes I've owned, this is, hands down, the cleanest, tightest one I've owned - and I've had newer. That's what I bought: Not the SC (although the price was higher because of it). Love it.
You Sir are definitely the brightest bulb in the box! Hope you enjoy your new car that you know nothing about!
