Default Titan TPMS

I need new TPMS's for my new Z06 wheels. Was thinking about getting the Titan brand. Is anyone using these now? Feedback?

Did it have to do with the units themselves or the people installing them?

I am thinking it was the units themselves, They are really easy to sync using your dic and a magnet.

Hopefully someone will chime in good or bad. I'm about to pull the trigger on new sensors and just trying to see what other options are out there versus OEM.

I just ordered a set from Rock Auto - $126 includes shipping - warehouse closeout of the Schrader sensors. I believe it's the same company that made the OEM for GM - the sensor is just red instead of black, but who sees them inside the tire !

Cheap doesn't always mean better. Buy the Schrader sensors. It's the same company that made the OEM for GM. I put Schraders in mine when i got new wheels and tires. No problem with "Learning" them what so ever !

I put a set on early last season and they are working just fine. I saved the other two they had removed and ordered 2 battteries from dingykey and re-built the two they had taken off, to put on the front.

I was thinking of doing the same thing with the OEM units after I install the new sensors. I just have a bad vibe of re-using the old sensors that are over 15 years old.

Which model Titan did you get?

Are there any people out there that have 97 or 98 Vettes whose original sensors are still working just fine?

I have a 98 that has the original sensors on it. They are working just fine but I'm putting on new wheels and want new sensors. Like the other person stated I may rebuild the original sensors for spares later on.

MMmmm.....So maybe the originals in my 2001 will go three more years. Seems like some folks have more trouble when they replace them. Maybe better to leave them alone.
