Default 2001 Z06 Production Question

Hey guys. My dad just finally bought his dream car. A 2001 millennium yellow Z06 corvette with red and black interior. He has wanted one since they first came out and found a spotless one locally with 24,000 miles on it. But anyway does anyone know how many of these cars were made with this color combination? I know just the 01 millennium yellow Z06 is 634 or something like that but I want to know how many were made that color with the red and black interior.

Thank you, Laser

I think someone will be able to get you the answer you are looking for. If nobody finds it in this forum, try posting in the C5 general section.

Laser,

Great color combination...I'm the original owner of a 2004 same combination.

You won't find the specific numbers you're looking for or at least I haven't. But you will find numbers of total color made per year and number of individual option.

There were 28388 Z06s made 2001-2004 with 4036 MY and 5321 with Mod Red interior. In other words 14% of production was MY and ~19% of all production came with Mod Red interior. If you assume that Mod Red was equally distributed through all color lines then ~19% of all MY production had that color combo,,,or about 760 cars over 4 years. Given the polarity of the combo, probably less....

This thread from 2002 says that there were only 95 yellow 2001 Z06s with the mod red interior.

Maybe contact the NCM.

That combo dates back to the 1937 Duesenberg, one of the most expensive toys in the world.
