Fiery C5 Crash

Definitely a little early around here to have a vette out, than really stupid to be driving fast in one. The roads are full of salt, and gravel, not to mention icy spots.
SIOUX FALLS, SD -
A two vehicle crash sent three people to the hospital in Sioux Falls.
Police say 23-year-old Adam J. Lind was heading eastbound on 57th Street at a high rate of speed in a 2001 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 when he hit a 2003 Lincoln Town Car going westbound on 57th Street.
The Corvette then collided with a traffic signal pole and a fence before stopping off road and began to burn.
Witnesses removed Lind from the vehicle.
The driver of the Lincoln, 87-year-old Donna L. Fodness and her passenger, 94-year-old Orval E. Fodness were transported to Avera McKennan Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Lind was sent by ambulance to Avera McKennan with non-life threatening injuries.
Criminal charges against Lind are pending.

Guy was an idiot doing a very stupid thing out on a public street. No sympathy from me. Hopefully the police charge him with everything they can.

my kids watch that teen mom 2 show on MTV one of the kids (if you can call 22 a kid )on that show has a boyfriend who name is Adam Lind who just bought a white Z06(only reason i paid any attention ) , i think its the same reckless kid on that show

When I saw that on the local news I informed the wife it looks like a vette. She at first did not think so. Told her that is the way they burn.
Almost got the C3 out yesterday before I blocked it in to work on semi-truck. Glad I didnt. That was just a few miles from me.

Guy sounds like a complete scumbag with a terrible driving record. Never watched the teen mom show but guess it was the same guy. I hope they prosecute him to the full extent of the law. No sympathy here, glad the others weren't seriously hurt.

Stupid trash. Should be locked up for 10yrs for all the infractions. He isn't good for anything anyhow.
I think we all did stupid things when we were younger, but this dumass is certainly out of control. Hope he comes across a judge with enough ***** to end this farce.

I live here in Sioux Falls and I have seen this clown driving around here. What a douche. The car has sat at a popular Dyno and tune up place for most of the winter. I remember the car because it had the exhaust coming out the rear quarters behind the wheels. I just got released from Grand Jury Duty Wed. but I would have loved for this case to have come up before us. Idiot.............

I've been in Sioux Falls this time of year before and it was hard to WALK without falling down due to the ice....even with salt and no recent storms the roads were very icy. I can't imagine anyone with any sense driving fast on them...
