Buttery Smooth Shifting?
i was at a car meet last night when a buddy of mine had me sit in his C5 Z06. His shifting was like butter! when i asked him what he did, he said "i bought Titanium linkage, it cost about $40". My question is... WHERE CAN I GET THIS?!?! anyone got this already and/or know where i can get it?

Mine is buttery smooth. I have a new 2013 Z06 shifter and shift box with Mobil 1 ATF tranny fluid.
Titanium linkage? Never heard of that one before. Does it even exist and if it did, what purpose would it serve?

Why are you asking us? He's your buddy and he said he bought it.
Why didn't he let you drive it? I find it hard you can tell how well something works by looking.
I think your buddy just did an early April Fools on you.

Ive tried for a long time to get mine to be buttery smooth. I've got Amsoil Torque Fluid, cleaned out clutch fluid doing the ranger method for a month, Anti-venom mod, New MGW shifter and their new box. Still very notchy going into second most are better but still somewhat notchy. Still looking for answers......

Two washers on an anti-venom mod and fresh fluid.
Never heard of titanium linkage before, which doesn't make sense to begin with. Metal linkage is metal linkage.

Grammar Police - "buttery"?
someone seems to be using the wrong words to describe this concept. One would not say: "good, gooder, goodest".
Instead they say: "good, better, best".
Likewise, it is not: "butt, butter, buttest".
Rather "butt, more butt, most butt".

I am running a B&M Ripper. I love the notch! Never a doubt if she is in or out of gear. Feel the click out of gear and the solid click in gear. Hated the stock system. Made it easier to miss a shift. Might be a better system out there but I am going to have to try it before I change what I have.

I have an mgw shifter, antivenom mod with 1 washer, amsoil atf, tick master, and motul rbf600 in the clutch reservoir... it's great when driving normal but I have been fighting the stupid pedal sticking to the floor at wot blasts since I've had the car for a little over 3 years... I have an act twin disc that has been sitting in my closet for 2 years, I was not looking forward to replacing it but now I have to since the stock clutch is slipping around 8psi... I'm going for a tr6060 swap at the same time the clutch goes in so hopefully this will solve all my issues and I can finally see what the car can do... I think your buddy is either blowing smoke up your rear or doesn't quite know what he's talking about... if all of us having problems could have solved it for $40 I'm sure we would have been all over it a long time ago

I'd look at a new master cylinder as well if that isn't part of your plan. I've had to use stock GM racing in the SCCA for the past 10 years. This year I'm going to NASA ST2 which has more open rules and I've bought a Tick master cylinder. Can't comment on it yet, but suspect that only would help a lot for the dreaded clutch sticking to the floor problem which was a perpetual thorn in my side racing in the SCCA.

read my whole post, I already have a tick master... I like the feel of it but it did not cure the sticking pedal... I have read that the pressure plate can also be the cause but I'm not sure to the truth of that... it really sucks having to spend thousands just to be able to drive the car they way it should drive
