[Z06] Just bought her

1st things 1st pull that dealer plate from off the front bumper, it is going to scratch the paint cause it doesnt fit

Same basic stuff. what are you wanting out of the mods power wise?
* What tires on on the car? if they are OEM goodyears i would look at new tires.. they suck and if the are old they are probably rotton and no good for handling/grip.
* Flush Fluids (coolant, brake, transmission fluid and diff fluids) Also seach for "Ranger Methoud Clutch Fluid" and swap the clutch fluid out, you will know why if your clutch peddal has ever stuck to the floor when driving it hard

* CAI (your choice, I like Callaway Honker or Halltech)
* Exhaust (stock Titanium mufflers rock so you will only gain sound from a muffler change). LT headers and Xpipe will gain a good chunk power power and make it sound tough.
* Tune... Custom will be best but ECS mail order tune or Chuck COW tune are awesome!
I changed my shift **** as well cause i hate the block feel. i did a billit round one that is alot more comfy but alot of guys like the feel of the C6Z06 shifter and ****.. Crisper shifts i guess without the hassle of a short throw shifter.

I actually didnt even notice how tall the antenna was until you said something, so theres that
Thanks again all, here's to much enjoyment and many mods to come!
1. Column lock bypass
2. Skip-shift eliminator, unless you get a tune
3. Better shift ****
Those three things will increase your peace-of-mind and enjoyment of the car for a total of less than $150.

First thing I'm doing when I take it out of storage is waxing it then immediately getting xpel ultimate film installed, followed by window tint, and I think it could use an alignment. May get some heavier coverage floormats to protect the carpet. Then that's about it for now ill just drive the hell out of it this season.
Near future mods include headers, then cam, new shifter...but I've already spent some coin as you can tell lol!

I too am a former Mustang owner converted to the dark side.
These cars do respond well to a good CAI, but don't waste your time on the catback exhaust. Tires are important. I simply couldn't put any power down until I got rid of the old F1 Supercar tires.

it is endless never ending
