Storing C5 Convertible With Top Down?

Black stains embedded in the fabric of the tan top.. Previous owner screwed up.. Most likely stowed the top down and when wet.. I Have yet to discover a fix for removing the ugly black stain.... Trying all the different brands of top cleaning snake oil without success... Too much scrubbing screws up the canvas-like knapp. 😱 help

When i got my c5 back in 2014 it had black mold on it and i used a spray product and the mold was actually disappearing right before my eyes. 6 years later zero black spots have returned.
I think i still have some left out in the garage I'll check when i get back home later and let you know what it was.
edit. I used this stuff...Zep mold stain and mildew stain remover comes in 32oz spray bottle.
I just sprayed it on and used a soft bristled brush to rub it in then hosed off with the garden hose. This stuff has bleach in it so use at your own discretion.
I think i still have some left out in the garage I'll check when i get back home later and let you know what it was.
