If you want a good all-season tire that won't break the bank and has a 50000 mile warranty check out these Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires. I had them on a 3000gt and they ran quiet and with confidence in the rain. they are for snow as well but I drive my Subaru in winter. Plus they have a 70.00 rebate going on right now. They have a lot of 5-star reviews.
We'll the 2004 could use some new rubber. Only 24,000 on the originals but ride is getting hard and loud. What is being used now days for replacement of the run flats? Want real life old fashioned tires without run flats. Thanks people.
I have tried several non-summer tires (all season) and found Continental DWS to be quiet and perform good on my vette in various conditions. Check Tire Rack and see how well they are in their tests compared to others, they have a lot of size variances to choose from other than stock. Prices are reasonable.
PS - have driven my bette in West Bend, Mil., Hartford, Menomonee areas in light snow that popped up and was glad I had them.
Replaced my GY runflats about a year ago with BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2s. I don't ever drive in the wet or cold, so they suit me just fine. Very aggressive tread pattern. Around $850 from Tire Rack.
agreed, i'm about to go on my 3rd set of these, no snow for me, but I get my share of rain
