I bought mine with no cats. I got tired of the smell and driving 50 miles to my speed shop's wink-wink, nod-nod inspector. I got Kooks hi-flow cats installed for $260, well worth the money to get rid of the smell and inconvenience.

I might get this done sooner or later .. smell kinda sucks in traffic
around where I live they just plug into the computer and there "supposed" to look under the car for cats but I guess they forgot
smells really rich .. sorta like a old car / truck / hot rod
its fine until your sitting in traffic with the windows down or roof off then you notice it
A pretty good description. There is definitely a smell of unburned gasoline mixed in with a strong exhaust smell. It's definitely worse at idle and at parking lot speeds.

I personally like the smell without cats and the sound
