I know this the our C5 forum .... but .....
Could Not help but notice the banner on main page-- GM to Sell Corvette in Europe @ Cadillac Dealers ( Some Camaro's too.) Well..., goes back to
The Intro of the C7, GM wants to distant our beloved Vette from Chevrolet! Main reason for bringing 'Stingray' name back....... Call it
Corvette Stingray... no more Chevrolet- the poor mans ride ....
Already MANY Chevrolet dealers in the USA ( Remember Baseball, Hotdogs
And Chevrolet) , cannot sell a new Chevrolet Corvette. Pity....
I recall a thread a yr or so ago mentioning Vette could possibly get move to Cadillac division ( if the bean counters in Detroit got their way)

IMO, the Corvette will stay with the Chevrolet division for a long time to come. By the MY 2015 roll-out, I'd bet many of the dealers that did not get an allocation for the '14 model will have their chance.

Just think'n and say'n
the biggest reason many Chevrolet dealers can't sell them is they have don't have a good track record in the past, meaning their sales have just not been there to get the allocation needed, and the Vette will always been a Chevrolet never a Cadillac which would be dumb move for Cadillac that would kill sells of the cts-v..this thread is pretty pointless
2004–2009 Cadillac XLR, more C5 than Caddy but with a 320 HP Northstar DOHC engine. The XLR-V was supercharged to 443 hp and 414 lb·ft.

If one comes up at the right price (they're a bit scarce around here), I'll seriously consider one, that folding top practically gives me a stiffy when I see it operating, even on the little Mercedes it's licensed from. That black metallic tri-coat is gorgeous too
Chevy, Cadillac, does it matter? They are BOTH made by GM. I like the fact that the Corvette doesn't have the bowtie on it. I shaved all the Chevy emblems off my '66 C10 truck and replaced them with a custom Caddy emblem. But my C10 is more Caddy than Chevy currently.

The Bowtie is embedded in the Corvette Crossed Flags, so it's always there.
Probably because Chevy is moving to China ! Traitors!
Well, actually it's because GM won't be selling any Chevys in Europe anymore except Corvette and Camaro: too much overlap with Opel and Vauxhall.
It's pretty much the same as GM getting rid of Olds and Pontiac here, Ford dumping Mercury, and Chrysler dumping Plymouth. Just too much brand redundancy chasing too few buyers.
