I've never been able to post pictures, but the fender badges are similar to Z06 fender badges & mounted in the same location. I always assumed it was factory, but a friend questioned it the other day & I wasn't sure. The car is definitely a Z51 -- I have the build sheet & the window sticker.

The only C5 cars that came out of the factory with emblems on the fenders were the Z06 and the 50th AE models. No C5 came with a Z51 emblem.
