I've posted a couple threads here as I've tried to chase down a problem I'm having. The engine was throwing the "throttle position code" and running on reduced engine power, and running rough like it was on four cylinders or something, intermittently.
I bought a new ignition switch because another owner described the host of electrical problems associated with the failure of that part, and it sounded like my issues to a T.
Well, when I started the car up to do the replacement, a whole new problem cropped up-it still had all the symptoms, but now the car wasn't responding to throttle inputs... at all.
Is it safe to conclude that the throttle body is actually the problem at this point? If so, what's the best route for a replacement for a DIY er?

Post a new thread in the C5 Tech forum. The guys over there are top notch! I know some basic stuff, mostly mechanical. The Tech bunch are your best bubch to bet on!
Among many things, a bad ignition switch can cause the reduced power warning and in that instance, the engine will not respond to throttle inputs. My second bad ignition switch did that, but a shutdown and restart resulted in normal engine power, although with a check engine light.
