Default Xs power headers

Well guys, the car is finally back from the dyno! The guys at xs power asked me to make a new thread with a review, so here it is:
Made decent numbers with a very smooth curve. Left my dyno sheet at work but it made 365/385 to the rear wheels after the tune. After getting back behind the wheel, MAN is this thing a rocket. Mods include zip tie mod (for now) xs power long tubes, off-road pipe, and borla straights. I intend to replace the borlas with my titanium after getting it modded eventually, but for now it's roaring!

Fitment wasn't 100% perfect, but the guys at Huron speed and xs power were very helpful at getting everything straightened out, and compensated me for modifications. If anyone else has any other questions I would be more than happy to answer!

Nice DB!

The issues are: (that i'm aware of)

* Dimple driver side primary to clear steering shaft
* Some people are dremeling the bell housing for O2 clearance, not all people had to do this

The issues I had were the dimple and the o2 being blocked by the bellhousing.

Well guys, there's more to the story. If I don't hear back from xs power by the end of the day, I'll post back with details. As of right now, I highly recommend everyone hold off on any xs power header orders. Don't get this confused, Jon and Huron speed are NOT the issue, feel confident in ordering through him, just not these headers.

I could of not said it better!!

I had so many issues I couldn't handle it any more and purchased KooKs headers. sounds like they never fixed the issue I sent them pictures of in dec. 2013.

I would never dremel out a part of the car to put a set of headers on when another set doesn't need it done. IMHO

You are right Jon is a good person and is caught in the middle between us and them since they dont like to be contacted.

I just put my XS headers on. Had to dimple drivers side to clear steering shaft. Everything else fit fine. They sound amazing.

This really is a shame with these. For years I have read about how well they fit and now something has happened to the design. I have the old style ceramic coated mild steel TSP headers on now and after 5 years of being in the FL weather every day they are starting to rust where the AC drips on the collector. I was going to replace with the XS ones but I think I'll try the new style stainless TSP ones now. It is already tuned for the TSP and the tunnel plate has already been modified to fit their 3 inch Xpipe so TSP it is, they are just a pain in the butt to install since it is all slip fit and and band clamps.

That is one of the reason's I went with LG. No issues, no worries on contacting them if I did have one. Sorry for your misfortune.
