First wave of Spring Mods are complete... *Pics*
My odometer surged over the 60,000 mile mark at the end of last season. So I figured I would get some preventative maintenance done and complete a few mods in the process. The guys at Vette Undercar Technologies in Salem NH did an amazing job with the car and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! (Thanks Bobd207s for the referral)
The following was completed:
- Remove, paint and clear coat brake calipers and brackets
- Clear coat the black powdercoated rotor hubs
- Replace brake rotors and pads with Brakemotive Cross Drilled and Slotted rotors and ceramic pads and stainless inserts
- Brake fluid flush/change
- Clutch fluid flush/change
- Rear Diff fluid flush/change
- Coolant flush/fill
- Oil change w/ WIX filter
- Change oil pressure sensor
- LOWERED on stock bolts with trimmed front bushings
- Replace drivers seat foams and cover
Anyways on to the important part.... The Pics!! What do you guys think?
The car ended up coming down almost a full inch in the front with trimmed bushings and a little over 3/4 of an inch in the rear with a few threads showing. I wanted to keep the OEM rake/stance of the car to prevent wheel hop and instability at high speeds with out it looking like a 4x4. And again, this is a DD with the F45 Selective Ride so slammed was not an option....

Car is looking good - nice job on the rotors/calipers and lowering it down.

Looks awesome. Like the way the brakes turned out, especially the calipers.

Mike, it looks like you're ready for another year of cruising! Aren't you guys still battling the white stuff over there?
I hadn't heard of VUT before - sounds like a road trip will be in order as they're on the opposite side of the state from me. A good excuse to head to Hampton once it warms up a bit.

I love that wheel color against the blue. Very nice.

Where did you get the single skin for the driver's seat? They're usually sold in pairs.
