What kind of battery life are other getting? Since buying my coupe in 2008, I have had to replace the battery every 2 years. I have been using an AC Delco every time, and the car is a daily driver, so I do not charge it.

Nice car color
My battery is a sears AGM 1 year old.
Stored and on charge over winter with battery tender.
Heat in Texas may be a problem
I believe I am on my 5th or 6th year with my red top, I lost track.
I thought it Finally gave out a week ago, as it had been on a battery tender since August, but I drove the car around for about an hour and now it's doing fine.
A lot depends on how much you use AC, if you have some aftermarket accessories like stereo that create draw and your climate.
Here in AZ, I can figure on replacing car batteries every 2-3 years regardless of brand.
Not surprising in that heat. The question is, does it go through batteries faster than your other cars?
I would expect, for daily drivers at least, that battery life would be about the same as most other (relatively) modern cars. The ones that stayed parked for weeks at a time, I have no idea: never had a car like that.

I changed factory battery after 8 years just as a precaution.
My 2004 convertible is on the charger over the winter and when not being driven.
I changed out the factory battery this year since it was getting weak.
I put in a Sears Platinum AGM, hope it will last 10 years too.
I've had 4 batteries in my 2001 (Central FL). Had to replace every 2 years (even the Optima Red Top). Finally, put in a DieHard Platinum (first battery I ever paid over $200 in my life). It has been working fine, and going on its 8th year.

You can't beat Sears DieHard batteries. I've used them in all of my vehicles for many years including my truck which runs an electric winch on my car hauler and a crane with electric over hydraulic which pulls a lot of power and I average 7 to 8 years on those batteries.
