Default Magnaflow Magnapack Question

Hey everyone, Im new to the forum having recently purchased a 2001 convertible. Ive been researching exhaust systems to purchase and im interested in the Magnaflow Magnapack 15281 system, which looks to be the 15763 system, but with quad tips instead of twins. While I have found a good amount of reviews in this forum about the 15763 system, Ive seen next to nothing on the 15281 system. Just looking for some feedback(quality, fitment, sound, etc.) before I buy it. Thanks!

I can't comment on whether the 15281 is the same as the 15763, but with quad tips.

However, I can comment on the 15763. My 2004 convertible had this system on it when I bought it. The drone was unbelievable: drone at idle, drone at light throttle around town, drone on the freeway. 20 minutes was enough to give me a headache. Outside of the car, it sounded nice. It was awesome at full throttle above 3000 rpm, but was extremely loud. It was loud enough where you will definitely attract attention whether you want it or not. If that is what you like (many do like that) go for it. If you have any doubts I would listen to one of these in person before getting it.

For perspective, I now have a Corsa Sport system, and I consider this to be extremely quiet, almost a bit too whimpy, unless it is at full throttle at high rpm. Many people consider these loud, but I do not.

Also, the Magnaflow system was welded in, and it made changing it out very expensive and time consuming. Not an issue if you keep it.
