Default RedlineGoods stuff installed

Just finished installing my RedlineGoods pieces. I got door pulls, console cover, traction control piping, shift boot, shift **** cover, and ebrake boot. Install was a snap on all but the ****...I make for a terrible seamstress, but it came out fairly well just the same.

Anyway, here's some pictures.

RedlineGoods makes nice stuff. Looks like you could use their e-brake handle, too.

Sure could, it's on my list when I go back for the steering wheel cover, radio bezel piping, and maybe for panel covers if I can get up the gonads to try that install.

Thank you for those photos, jrp1588

As for your shift **** cover install - this could have of course been done a bit better but even factory leather ***** do not look much better

And thank you for those kind words, guys

Take care

You guys sent plenty of extra thread, I might try again on the shift ****. That wrinkle annoys me. The instructions confused me a bit.

I couldn't figure out a way to thread it all on there without taking ALL the thread off the provided bobbin so I could knot the end and get started threading. This resulted in the thread constantly twisting around itself and knotting.

Well, we always provide much more thread than necessary - just in case a customer needs to make some corrections or even start over again. Sorry it was a bit confusiong - we will update our instructions with the information that only around half of the thread is enough to perform the installation.

Depending on what glue you use to glue the leather to the **** core - sometimes it helps to apply a lot of glue to the leather - when glue soaks into the leather, it makes the leather more pliant thus easier to lay on the **** without too much wrinkles.

Take care
Jack

Cool, well I'm just going to leave it for now, using less thread certainly would have been easier. But I had no idea how much I'd need, and I knew as soon as I cut it, it would be too short. No worried, I'll try again, and it should come out much better now that I've already done it once.

Looks, good! My Nappa leather shift and E-brake boot, arm rest cover, and transaction control piping from Redline is supposed to be delivered Monday...I was hoping to get it today so I could install it this weekend, but no.

Did you order the extra padding for the arm rest or just cover the existing cover? Was glue necessary?

No extra padding. I didn't want to add too much bulk. I didn't use glue on the center console cover
